Management of Pelvic Fracture with Hemodynamic Instability
Annotation for Point N
A stable patient with a CT scan that is negative, or does
not require operative intervention, should go to an
intensive care area for completion of resuscitation. This
includes correction of coagulopathy and treatment for
hypothermia. The patient should then get completion of the
trauma evaluation including CT scans and any needed plain
radiographs.
