Founders’ Basic Science Lectureship 

Throughout the years, the Western Trauma Association has matured as an academic society while maintaining the cherished elements of friendship, collegiality and family. In honor of this unique spirit, a founding member has generously provided the idea and the initial financial support for an annual Founders’ Basic Science Lectureship. The purpose of this Lecture is to further enhance the educational value of our Scientific Meeting relative to the area of basic science research. This Lecture reflects the vision and dedication of our founding members and will hold a prominent place in all future programs.
